MANUAL WATER SOFTENER REGENERATION PROCEDURE:
- Close the water supply to the unit and switch the valves to regeneration position.
- Unscrew the top cap of the softener.
- Add the prescribed amount of salt according to the model.
- Close the cap firmly again.
- Allow the brine solution to flow through the system for approximately 40 minutes until the resin is completely rinsed.
- Return the valves to the working position and the unit is ready for operation again.
- After regeneration, the resin regains its ability to bind hardness minerals and the softener can continue normal operation.
