INDUCTION PRINCIPLE
- Heat is generated by a magnetic field directly inside the cookware.
- This field is generated electronically and the appliance contains no heating elements, ensuring a very high level of safety.
- Cooking takes place with virtually no heat loss; it is the most energy-efficient technology, as removing the cookware immediately stops the cooking process.
- Three physical phenomena occur:
- A) Energy transfer from the inductor to the cookware by electromagnetic action.
- B) Conversion of electrical energy into heat inside the cookware by Joule effect.
- C) Heat transfer from the cookware to the food by thermal conduction.
- Note: Appliance is compatible with all enamelled, cast iron or stainless steel cookware marked “INDUCTION”.
