High-capacity mobile design is suitable for hotels, catering services, central kitchens, institutional kitchens, buffet operations and serving lines.
Purpose of refrigerated holding trolleys
Diamond refrigerated holding trolleys help maintain prepared cold food at the correct temperature during storage, transport and waiting before service. Ventilated cooling distributes cold air throughout the chamber, while electronic control allows the temperature to be set from +2 to +8 °C. The trolleys are suitable for cold platters, salads, desserts, chilled side dishes and other prepared food.

Durable construction and safe handling
Stainless steel construction, double-wall insulation and rounded internal corners simplify cleaning and help maintain stable conditions inside the chamber. Automatic defrosting facilitates operation. The digital display allows easy monitoring of the set temperature.
The trolleys are equipped with 4 swivel castors with a diameter of 125 mm. Two castors are fitted with brakes. Side handles facilitate transportation. A rubber perimeter bumper absorbs impacts during handling and protects the trolley body.
The doors open up to 120°. They remain secured when opened to approximately 100° and close automatically at a smaller angle. A key lock helps protect the stored contents.
Frequently asked questions
Are refrigerated holding trolleys designed for blast chilling hot food?
No. These trolleys are designed to maintain the correct temperature of food that has already been chilled. A blast chiller must be used to rapidly reduce the temperature of freshly prepared hot food.
What temperature range do refrigerated holding trolleys provide?
Electronic control allows the internal temperature to be set from +2 to +8 °C. The digital display provides clear temperature monitoring during operation. The final temperature of the stored food is affected by its initial temperature, the trolley load and the frequency of door opening.
How does ventilated cooling work?
A fan circulates cold air between the individual levels inside the chamber. Even airflow helps reduce temperature differences between the upper and lower sections of the trolley and maintains stable conditions for all stored food. GN containers and shelves must be arranged so that air can circulate freely throughout the chamber.
Where are refrigerated holding trolleys most commonly used?
They are used in restaurants, hotels, canteens, catering operations, central kitchens, banqueting facilities and serving lines. The trolleys allow prepared chilled food to be moved between the kitchen, storage area and point of service while maintaining the set temperature.
