Hood dishwashers support a smooth workflow from handling soiled dishes through washing to unloading clean items. The pass-through design simplifies basket handling and, combined with entry and exit tables, a pre-rinse spray and suitable accessories, allows the washing area to be configured according to the available space and required capacity.

From manual controls to digital systems

Individual models differ in their control systems and technical equipment. Entry-level versions with a manual control panel provide straightforward selection of washing cycles without complex electronic operation. More advanced models feature digital controls. Depending on the design, the control panel can be positioned in the lower section of the machine or directly on the hood for convenient access. Higher equipment levels can include temperature monitoring for washing and rinsing, Break Tank, atmospheric boiler, rinse and drain pumps, detergent and rinse-aid dispensers or an automatic water softener. The standard equipment depends on the specific model.

DIAMOND Silver, Gold and Platinum series cover different requirements in terms of construction, performance and technology. When selecting a machine, important factors include basket capacity per hour, available programmes, construction, rinsing system and the standard equipment of the individual model. Higher-specification machines also include Best Wash and Best Wash EVO solutions designed for precise management of the washing process and a high standard of hygiene. Controlled final rinsing ensures the required temperature and consistent rinse quality during each cycle.

500 × 500 mm baskets and CROSSOVER 600 × 500 mm

Standard models primarily use 500 × 500 mm baskets suitable for plates, glasses, cutlery and other commonly used tableware. CROSSOVER models extend the washing possibilities with a larger 600 × 500 mm basket and a more spacious washing chamber. Depending on the basket used, they can also accommodate GN containers, 600 × 400 mm bakery trays and larger kitchen utensils. This makes CROSSOVER suitable for operations where one machine needs to handle different types and sizes of washable items.

H.R.S. heat recovery

Selected models are available with H.R.S. – Heat Recovery System, which recovers heat generated during the washing process to preheat the incoming water. At the same time, the system condenses part of the steam, reducing the amount released into the working area when the hood is opened. H.R.S. therefore helps reduce the energy required for water heating and contributes to improved working conditions around the washing area.
