Rack conveyor dishwashers for high-capacity kitchens

Rack conveyor dishwashers are designed for operations where the capacity of conventional commercial or hood-type dishwashers is no longer sufficient. Tableware is loaded into racks that are automatically transported through the washing system. This continuous process reduces manual handling between individual cycles and allows large quantities of tableware to be processed efficiently.

The DIAMOND range is divided into two main product lines. TRACTION LINE provides professional rack conveyor dishwashers for continuous high-capacity washing. TRACTION LINE PLUS extends this concept with higher-performance solutions and a more advanced level of technical equipment for demanding large-scale warewashing operations. Individual models differ in hourly capacity, number of processing zones, power, technical equipment and washing configuration. The system can therefore be matched to the actual volume of tableware and operating requirements of each installation.

Automatic rack transport and continuous workflow

The system is based on the automatic movement of standard racks through the dishwasher. Multi-speed rack transport allows throughput to be adapted to the required capacity and type of tableware. Higher-specification models can incorporate a separate pre-wash zone and additional technical modules. This solution is particularly suitable for hotels, hospitals, school and staff canteens, catering facilities, large restaurants and other high-volume operations where substantial quantities of tableware must be processed within a limited period.

Complete warewashing lines for different layouts

The rack conveyor dishwasher forms the central part of a complete warewashing area. Loading and pre-wash tables provide space for sorting tableware, removing food residues and preparing racks before they enter the machine. Unloading tables and roller conveyors support the continuous movement of clean racks and reduce unnecessary manual handling. Straight and curved conveyor sections allow the direction of rack movement to be adapted to the available space. The complete line can therefore be configured as a straight installation or with changes of direction where the layout does not permit a fully linear arrangement.

Pre-washing, drying and technical accessories

A high-capacity warewashing line can be extended with equipment for different stages of the process. Pre-wash tables and modules assist with the removal of heavy food residues before the main washing stage. Depending on the required configuration, the system can also incorporate drying, heat recovery, extraction and other technical accessories. This modular concept allows the individual components of the line to be configured according to the required capacity, workflow and available installation space.

Capacity and warewashing line configuration

When planning a rack conveyor warewashing line, the required number of racks per hour, type of tableware and peak workload are key parameters. The available space for receiving soiled tableware, pre-washing, the dishwasher itself and unloading clean racks must also be considered. Machine capacity should therefore be assessed together with the organisation of the entire warewashing area. The appropriate combination of dishwasher, loading and unloading tables, roller conveyors and additional modules creates a continuous system matched to the capacity and layout of the operation.
