Commercial electric potato peelers from Diamond are designed for rapid removal of potato skins when larger quantities are prepared regularly. Range includes countertop and floor-standing models with maximum batch loads from 5 to 18 kg and hourly output from 150 to 500 kg of potatoes.
Stainless steel construction, digital timers, automatic water supply and safety microswitches support smooth operation and hygienic maintenance. Individual models suit restaurants, cafeterias, hotels, commercial kitchens and food-processing facilities.
Commercial potato peeler removes skins mechanically using a rotating disc with a rough surface. During each cycle, potatoes move inside the container and come into contact with treated surfaces of the disc and interior lining, which gradually remove skin from their entire surface.
Automatic water supply continuously rinses potatoes and carries released peel waste through the side drain. Processing time is set with a digital timer according to size, shape and condition of loaded potatoes. Transparent lid provides a clear view of the cycle without opening the machine.
Safety microswitches stop operation when the lid or discharge door is opened. Removable disc and interior lining provide convenient access to the container during regular cleaning.
When selecting a model, it is important to distinguish between maximum batch load and hourly output. Suitable choice depends on quantity of potatoes processed regularly, required preparation speed and available space.
Model PPF-05 processes a 5 kg batch and provides hourly output of 150 kg. Each cycle takes approximately 60–90 seconds. Compact countertop design suits smaller kitchens and operations with lower production requirements.
Model PPF-10 processes a 10 kg batch and provides hourly output of 300 kg. Cycle time of approximately 90–120 seconds is suitable for regular potato preparation in busier restaurants, cafeterias and commercial kitchens. Floor-standing construction includes stainless steel legs.
Model PPF-18 accommodates an 18 kg batch and provides hourly output of 500 kg. Each cycle takes approximately 120–150 seconds, making this model suitable for operations processing large quantities of potatoes throughout the day.
Before ordering, check available installation space and access to water supply and drainage. For larger quantities of peel waste, drainage can be supplemented with BFD-ST filter container, which collects solid residue before wastewater enters the drainage system.
Correctly selected batch load and hourly output provide sufficient processing performance without unnecessary repetition of numerous work cycles.
